Speaking from the Wallenborn exhibition space in the heart of the buzzing “Air Cargo Europe” hall, Mr Frantz Wallenborn, the Group President and CEO, stated: "This is our third successive attendance at “Transport Logistic”, the foremost meeting place for supply chain professionals. Since our first participation at Air Cargo Europe in 2011 our capabilities and capacity grew substantially and we are now recognised as the European leader in our market segment. Therefore, it was fitting that our presence in Munich was our largest yet and we received a record number of visitors. I was especially honoured to welcome our Luxembourg Minister of Sustainable Development and Infrastructure, Mr François Bausch. I took the opportunity to present to him our latest service and network developments and to emphasise our success in raising awareness of Luxembourg amongst our numerous multinational customers."

During the last five years, the Wallenborn group , with its thirteen offices in eleven countries, has extended its air-cargo road feeder network to connect 120 airports across Europe. This network, recently reinforced by the opening of service centres in Milan and Vienna, offers trucking, handling and track and trace. Besides its leadership in Europe, Wallenborn expanded to the Middle East opening offices in Dubai and Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates; more developments in the Gulf region will be announced very soon. At the same time, Wallenborn has developed a wide range of products including GDP validated services for the healthcare sector and TAPA TSR certified services for highly vulnerable cargo.

Summing up, Mr Wallenborn noted: "Luxembourg, thanks to its location and sector professionals, has a lot to offer in terms of logistics expertise, infrastructure and innovation. I am proud of the efforts made by all of my team to promote Luxembourg to an international audience."
