Luxembourg, 15.11.2023

Ram Menon, Chief Commercial Officer explained, “in 2013, Wallenborn was the first own-fleet operator in Luxembourg to obtain GDP certification, to maintain the highest standards in healthcare transportation and to eliminate the need for manufacturer audits. Our dedicated GDP teams, located at our control tower in Luxembourg and on the roads across Europe have a singular focus – to ensure that the correct products are delivered in perfect condition to the appropriate recipients within a satisfactory timeframe”.

Elements of Wallenborn’s GDP Certification include

  3. Supply Chain Mapping to visualise the transportation process and identify potential risks and areas for improvement and implement safety and security protocols.
  4. Temperature Mapping and Transport Qualification ensuring that products are transported under the correct temperature conditions.
  5. Staff and driver training to ensure the importance of understanding and maintaining the integrity of the cold chain for temperature-sensitive products.
  6. Trailer fleet cleaning protocols
