One of the first Mega Trailers…
1993
The Mega Trailer revolutionized European freight transport by offering increased internal height and volume without exceeding standard road height regulations.
The PW753 was one of the first trucks to have a connector as low as 950 millimetres. This allowed for connection to the LAG Mega Trailer which boasted an internal height of 3 metres.

Between 1993 and 2008, Luxembourg’s logistics industry evolved from a supporting sector into a core pillar of the national economy, thanks to strategic investment, infrastructure development, and European integration. The country capitalized on its geographic centrality, its reputation for political and financial stability, and the emergence of the European Single Market to become a major player in European freight, air cargo, and intermodal logistics.
